Description

The app focused on New York points of interest, catering to tourists (mainly from Asia). Combining the well-known map marker with the app’s panda mascot created a friendly, easily understood identity.

The client wanted something that felt personal and rustic for their butcher shop. The butcher knife helped convey everything they do in one succinct symbol.

Visually, the app eschews common gambling imagery and skeuomorphism for a more clean, distinct, and bold look.

New York’s first female cicerone needed a bold identity as she became a more prominent influencer in the craft beer industry. Rather than relying on familiar brewing iconography, the identity needed to reflect her role as a beacon that promotes and celebrates others and their products.

The audience is primarily within the film industry, so imagery such as a film reel canister is the basis of the logo and includes a subtle “play” button icon as well.
